WisdomTree confirms receipt of nominations for directors of

NEW YORK, March 18, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — WisdomTree Investments, Inc. (“WisdomTree” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: WETF), an exchange-traded fund (“ETF”) and exchange-traded product ( “ETP”), sponsor and asset manager, today confirmed receipt of notice from shareholders of WisdomTree ETFS Capital Limited and Lion Point Capital regarding their intention to nominate certain individuals to stand for election to the Board of directors of WisdomTree (the “Board”) at the company’s 2022 general meeting. Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the “2022 Annual Meeting”). At the 2022 Annual Meeting, two Class II Directors are standing for election.

The board and its nominating and governance committee will review proposed director nominees and present the board’s recommendation for director nominees in the company’s definitive proxy statement, which will be filed with the Securities and United States Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and mailed to all WisdomTree shareholders entitled to vote at the 2022 General Meeting. The date of the 2022 General Meeting has not yet been announced.

WisdomTree shareholders are not required to take any action at this time.
