Unilever once again ranked number 1 of the most respected FMCG companies in Sri Lanka

August 19, Colombo: Unilever Sri Lanka has been ranked number 1 of the country’s most respected FMCG companies in LMD’s Most Respected Entities publication for 2022.

This is the 17th consecutive time that Unilever has made the list, moving up 4 places from 2021 to claim 6th position overall among more than 100 different companies.

Unilever was also declared the industry winner in both the “Consumer Products” and “Multinational” categories, continuing its winning streak.

The company also emerged as the highest-rated FMCG company to appear in the LMD’s Top 12 Performance Metrics/Indicators for the assignment of rankings, namely: “Financial Performance”, “Quality Consciousness”, “Profile Management”, “Honesty”, “Innovation”, “Dynamism”, “Corporate Culture”, “CSR & Sustainability”, “Vision”, “National Perspective”, “HR & People Management”, and “Crisis Management ‘.

The “Most Respected Entities in Sri Lanka” ranking is based on an annual survey conceptualized by Sri Lanka’s leading business magazine – LMD and conducted by NielsenIQ. This year’s survey covered the opinions of 800 respondents from companies listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), the LMD Top 100 List (2020/21) and the Brands Annual 2021 list. was based on the sum total of the weighted score values ​​for each company.
