ABOUT THE REPORT
Legend Holdings Corporation (“Legend REPORT SCOPEHoldings” or the “Company”, stock code: 3396.HK) is pleased to publish its fifth Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) Report (the “Report”) which seeks to disclose the efforts and performance of the Company and its subsidiaries (the “Group”) on ESG-related issues such as corporate culture and management, employee development, supply chain management, environmental protection , product liability and social protection initiatives in 2021.
Details on Legend Holdings’ corporate governance and financials are contained in relevant sections of the company’s 2021 Annual Report. Unless otherwise indicated, capitalized terms and expressions used in this report have the same meaning as ascribed to them in the definitions section of the Company’s 2021 Annual Report. The data and information contained in the Report come from the Group’s formal documents and statistical reports.
This report is published in Traditional Chinese and English and is posted on the Company’s website (https://www.legendholdings.com.cn) and the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (“Stock Exchange”) website for public access and download. In case of discrepancy between the two versions, the Traditional Chinese version shall prevail.
The Company has selected certain subsidiaries in different sectors of activity and their real estate assets as the scope of information for this Report by considering the proportions of the contributions of its subsidiaries and their real estate assets to the total equity attributable to the shareholders of the Company and Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Hazards (“EHSQ”), including Lenovo Group Limited (“Lenovo”, stock code: 00992.HK), Banque Internationale à Luxembourg SA (“BIL” ), Levima Advanced Materials Corporation (“Levima Advanced Materials”, stock code: 003022.SZ), Raycom (refers to Raycom Info Tech Park where Legend Holdings properties and headquarters are located. It is jointly managed by Raycom Property Investment Co., Ltd. (“Raycom Property”) and Raycom Technology Co., Ltd (“Raycom Technology”), both are subsidiaries of Legend Holdings. Where applicable, “Raycom” in this report refers to Raycom Property and t Raycom Technology or Raycom Info Tech Park, a manager owned by both companies. The above subsidiaries and their real estate assets have higher EHSQ risks than other subsidiaries and have contributed approximately 60% of the Company’s total shareholders’ equity. The ESG results and performance of the Company and the above subsidiaries and their real estate assets have been highlighted in this Report. The information provided by Lenovo in this report is taken from its 2020/21 Environmental, Social and Governance Report.
