Atlantica Receives Bronze Class Recognition in the S&P
February 2n/a, 2022 – Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure plc (NASDAQ: AY) received the Bronze Class distinction in the S&P Global 2022 Sustainability Yearbook. Only two companies listed in the United States have received a medal in the electric utility sector.
S&P Global assessed 7,554 companies in 61 sectors before releasing its 2022 Sustainability Yearbook. The annual study, which assesses environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance, awards the Bronze class to companies whose score is between 5% and 10% of that of the best performing company in its sector. The assessment assesses aspects such as corporate governance, climate strategy, power generation, operational eco-efficiency and health and safety indicators, among other parameters.
